VerkLabs Designer Reference Manual

Build, edit, and manage interactive 3D scenes in your browser

Media Bar

The Media Bar is shown at the bottom of the screen when you mouse over the Scene Viewer, and disappears when you’re not moving the mouse, providing an unobstructed view. It’s the only control surface in Viewer Mode – the mode a shared project opens in – where none of the editor’s title bars or drop-down menus are shown. For the equivalent controls while editing, see the Project Settings chapter’s Canvas Top Bar and Drop-Down Menu sections.

Credit

The left side of the Media Bar shows the project’s name and, after a © symbol, its creator’s display name and copyright years. Click the project name to open it. Click the creator’s name to see their other public projects.

Animation

The play , pause , and stop buttons are available in the Media Bar. If you have saved the project with a running camera animation, these will control the animation. If you have animation implemented with shaders, these are also controlled by these buttons.

Devices

The microphone , camera , and audio buttons enable and disable these devices, if they’re required by the project.

Full Screen

The full screen button fills the whole screen with the project.

Share

The Share button gives you a URL you can share with anyone. The URL will bring up Viewer Mode, where the project can not be edited or saved.

Before you share a project, make sure that it, and all its assets, are marked as public. If they are not, you will get an error message when you try to share.

If you have shared a project with a user, they can in turn share it with other users, but your name will continue to be attributed in the Media Bar.

About

On the right side of the bar, “Created with VerkLabs” links to verklabs.ai, and the info icon opens navigation help for the Scene Viewer.
